The Bridge, WSAV’s daytime lifestyle program, is looking for a videographer to join our dynamic team. This is a fun, fast-paced role with opportunities to work inside a television station and on exciting location shoots.We’re seeking someone capable of producing entertaining segments on food, fashion, beauty, and human-interest stories. If you thrive under deadlines, love storytelling, and can juggle multiple projects with ease, this is the job for you!What You’ll DoShoot and edit video for lifestyle show segmentsShoot and edit video for sponsored segments featuring paid clients of the TV stationSchedule and set up video shootsWork with manager, Executive Producer and Host to maintain a high level of quality control for The BridgeEdit and post video content to WSAV social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTubePost sponsored video segments to WSAV.comCollaborate with the team to develop out-of-the-box ideas that engage and entertainWork closely with sales team on client-driven contentContribute to the WSAV+ streaming app and leverage social media to promote contentAssist in booking compelling guests, writing scripts, and creating engaging packages for the showMaintain The Bridge show’s video equipmentHelp with special projects and other duties as assignedHave fun!Who We’re Looking ForA creative, detail-oriented self-starter who loves teamworkExceptional skills in writing, shooting, editing, and producingExperience preferred with Adobe Premier Pro and WordPressProficiency with video equipment (Canon 80-D and Canon C-300) would be idealAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExperience using social media and digital tools to amplify contentAbility to work with all departments (Sales, Creative Services, News, Production, Programming) at WSAVEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree preferred in TV/Film, or equivalent experienceTV production experience desiredPhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentPosition requires the operation of camera, camera equipment, lighting, microphones, computer and editing suite. Transport of equipment weighing up to 30 lbs. Work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
