The company's experienced teams ensure our clients are served by the best tenured industry experts.We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to oversee and manage our global payroll operations and benefits administration. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across multiple regions, including employees, contractors, and partners engaged through PEOs and EORs.In addition to payroll leadership, this individual will support broader HR initiatives, partnering with the HR Manager on projects and HRBP-related activities. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment.Key Responsibilities:Global Payroll ManagementOversee end-to-end global payroll processing across multiple countries and jurisdictionsEnsure payroll accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and timely processingManage relationships with payroll vendors, including PEOs (Professional Employer Organizations) and EORs (Employers of Record)Maintain and improve payroll processes, controls, and documentationPartner with Finance on payroll reporting, reconciliations, and auditsContractor & Workforce Administration Manage payroll and payment processes for a global independent contractor networkEnsure proper classification and compliance with local labor lawsCollaborate with Legal/Finance on contractor agreements and payment structuresBenefits Administration Assist with administration of employee benefits programs across regionsAssist with and support benefits vendors and employee inquiriesSupport benefits renewals, benchmarking, and program enhancementsHR Systems & Process Improvement Support implementation, optimization, and maintenance of HRIS systemsLeverage systems (e.g., NetSuite SuitePeople) to streamline payroll and HR processesIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalabilityHR Projects & HRBP Support Partner with the HR Manager on key HR initiatives and cross-functional projectsSupport HR Business Partner (HRBP) activities such as workforce planning, reporting, and employee lifecycle processesAssist with policy development, compliance efforts, and organizational initiativesQualifications & Experience: 5+ years of experience in payroll management, including global payrollBachelors Degree or HigherExperience managing independent contractors, PEOs, and EORsAdvanced Excel and Data Analysis/Hygiene SkillsStrong understanding of payroll compliance and employment regulations across multiple regionsExperience with HRIS implementation or optimization preferredFamiliarity with NetSuite SuitePeople preferred but not requiredKnowledge of benefits administration practices and vendor managementStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a remote, fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred Qualifications Professional HR Designations (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)Experience in a high-growth or global organizationExposure to finance/accounting processes related to payrollProject management experience within HR or operationsWork Environment Fully remote positionCollaborative, global team environmentOpportunity to partner with Global leadership to shape and scale payroll and HR processesBenefits - Why Connor?We approach every relationship with purpose, attention, and a little fun!
