3rd Shift - Foreman

Company Overview: GTI specializes in the design, engineering, fabrication, and deployment of custom modular structures, shipping container-based structures, and ballistic metal fabrication. We serve multiple industries, including DOD contractors, military, disaster relief, and commercial markets. Our containerized and modular solutions are all built in-house at our factory in Buffalo, NY. Manufacturing capabilities range from military training, live fire enclosures, bathroom/shower units, expeditionary camps, medical facilities, water treatment, electrical/energy storage enclosures, and much more. The GTI team consists of more than 50 professionals spanning from fabrication and engineering to government and military specialists. Our combination of expertise allows us to provide top quality solutions and customer service for various industries and missions. GTI is currently seeking a Foreman for the newly created 3rd shift. The hours for this position are from 11pm to 7:30am, and may require additional overlap at the beginning of the shift for additional direction. Responsibilities: Supervise the 3rd shift and coordinate assigned tasks to staff members. Ensure all work assigned is completed on time and to the specified quality standards. Review all work completed for quality assurance purposes in accordance with project specifications. Manage the scheduling of staff for 3rd shift, and provide coverage as a working lead where needed based on absenteeism and project demands. Communicate with 1st and 2nd shift and other Company leaders in regards to project status and completion. Ensure employee safety in accordance with Company procedures and applicable regulations.
