This role provides leadership and oversight to Culinary Leads and concession cooks, ensuring efficient food production, consistent menu execution, and compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards. The Culinary Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining quality, cleanliness, and operational readiness in a fast-paced, high-volume ballpark environment. This position works closely with Concessions Supervisors and Management to support service flow, resolve operational issues, and uphold Oak View Group and Polar Park culinary standards.This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00-$25.00Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingThis position will remain open until April 17, 2026.ResponsibilitiesOversee culinary operations across multiple concession locations during games and eventsSupport and supervise Culinary Leads and concession cooks to ensure efficient food production and serviceEnsure consistent execution of menus, recipes, portioning, and quality standardsMonitor food safety, sanitation, and temperature control in accordance with local regulations and Oak View Group standardsVerify completion of temperature logs, prep logs, cleaning checklists, and food safety documentationConduct kitchen walk-throughs and address food safety or operational issues in real timeCoordinate food production timing and quantities to support service flow and demandAssist with opening, mid-event, and closing culinary procedures across locationsIdentify and escalate equipment, supply, or facility issues related to BOH operationsCommunicate operational updates, staffing needs, and compliance concerns to Concessions ManagementSupport special events, inspections, audits, and non-game-day culinary operations as assignedQualificationsPrevious culinary or food service experience required; supervisory or lead culinary experience preferredStrong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control practicesAbility to lead and support multiple BOH teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to monitor and enforce operational and food safety standards consistentlyExperience completing or overseeing food safety documentation and kitchen proceduresAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on the Polar Park event scheduleAbility to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding BOH environmentServSafe Food Handler or ServSafe Manager certification required or willingness to obtain
