Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of large-scale robotic automation solutions in collaboration with cross-functional partners.About The RoleWe are seeking a Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of large-scale robotic automation systems. This role focuses on delivering robust, safe, and scalable electrical designs for complex robotic workcells operating in high-throughput environments. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams and play a key role throughout the full product lifecycle—from concept and design through field deployment and support.You would be responsible for electrical system architecture, integration, and troubleshooting for large fulfillment workcell robots. This position is critical to ensuring system reliability, performance, and compliance in demanding operational settings.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems for large fulfillment workcell robots, including power distribution, motor control, and sensor integrationTroubleshoot complex electrical issues in deployed robotic systems to minimize downtime and optimize performanceCreate detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationCollaborate with mechanical, software, and controls engineers to integrate electrical systems into complete robotic solutionsConduct design reviews, failure analysis, and root cause investigations for electrical system issuesDefine electrical specifications and requirements for new robotic workcell designsSupport manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of robotic systems at fulfillment centersMentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices for electrical designQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in robotics or automationStrong knowledge of power electronics, motor drives, and control systemsExperience with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and wiring diagramsUnderstanding of safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA 79, UL, CE)PLUSES TO HAVEMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldExperience with large-scale industrial automation or material handling systemsKnowledge of PLCs, industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet, etc.)Experience with low and high voltage systems in robotic applicationsFamiliarity with EMC/EMI design considerationsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environmentsExperience supporting field deployments and troubleshooting in operational facilitiesCompensation And BenefitsThere are two different pay options for this role:2.
