Software Developer IV – Java Position Summary: This senior-most Java development role focuses on designing and leading enterprise-wide application initiatives. The Software Developer IV works as a technical authority on Java-based technologies and contributes to architectural and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities: Develop and guide the implementation of highly available, mission-critical enterprise applications. Define technical architecture and integration patterns for new and existing systems. Lead enterprise development teams and mentor junior developers. Conduct in-depth code reviews and architecture evaluations. Align development efforts with organizational strategies and enterprise architecture. Qualifications and Experience: 12+ years in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, JBoss. 12+ years working with Oracle 10g+, SQL Server, and enterprise RDBMS. 10+ years in web application development. 8+ years in architecture, design patterns, and web services/API development. 6+ years in technical documentation and high-level system design. Desired Expertise: Hands-on experience with financial systems development. Advanced knowledge of system engineering, networking, and security. Familiarity with project management and enterprise architecture frameworks. Soft Skills: Visionary leader with excellent communication and collaboration skills. Highly analytical with a track record of problem-solving at scale.
