ID Licensed Interventional Cardiologist Needed: Inpatient Call Only We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Interventional Cardiology Physician to provide inpatient-only locum tenens coverage near Weiser, ID. This position offers an opportunity to work within a Level II trauma center as part of a collaborative, patient-centered cardiovascular care team. Schedule: 24-hour call coverage only (no clinic duties) Coverage Dates: Dec 2 (7 AM) ??? Dec 8 (7 AM) Dec 23 (7 AM) ??? Jan 5 (7 AM) Jan 22 (7 AM) ??? Jan 28 (7 AM) Feb 18 (7 AM) ??? Feb 24 (7 AM) Mar 19 (7 AM) ??? Mar 25 (7 AM) Apr 16 (7 AM) ??? Apr 21 (7 AM) Key Responsibilities: Provide inpatient cardiology care, averaging 3 consults and 2 procedures daily Perform interventional procedures (TEE, balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, IFR) Manage STEMI activations (approx. 3 per week) Work within a Level II trauma center with 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, and 10 CMU beds Collaborate with APPs (available weekdays, limited weekend support) Requirements: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine or Cardiovascular Disease Active Idaho license or IMLC with LOQ (required at time of name clear) Clean malpractice and background record COVID-19 vaccination (required) Availability for most or all listed dates Local candidates preferred This is a rewarding opportunity to provide critical cardiovascular care in a well-equipped, supportive hospital environment.
