Here is more information:Summary: The Med Tech performs a variety of chemical, hematologic, serologic, immunohematologic, microscopic, and microbiologic analyses for disease diagnosis and treatment.The hospital:100+ bed hospital and several satellite locationsWinner of the Outstanding Patient Experience AwardResponsibilities:Conducts hematology and chemistry analyses, operating current instrumentation and performing manual testing.Completes STAT tests (CBC, PTT, Protime, electrolytes, BUN, Creatinine, cardiac enzymes, therapeutic drug levels) within specified timeframes.Orders tests and reports resultsPrepares special reports, manages quality control, and ensures validity of test results.Maintains instrumentation and performs preventive maintenanceTrains new staff and students, follows safety protocols, and adheres to hospital policies and procedures.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related scienceBoard certification or eligibility for ASCP, ASMT, AMTAble to perform high complexity testingAdditional InformationWhy work with me?My services are FREE to you!I will keep your job search confidential.My emails go directly into the manager's inbox.I handle all the logistics-- scheduling interviews, negotiating salary, etc.And more!Interested?
