Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Detroit, MI Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $1,874 to $1,932 per week Shift Information: Evenings - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Description & Requirements Medical Laboratory Technician - (Med Lab Tech - MLT) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 E Pay Rate: $1874.00 - $1932.00 MLT/ MT needed asap for 13 weeks Under direct supervision by laboratory technologist, leader and/or supervisor, and according to defined protocols, performs select procedures on blood and/or other body fluids or specimens, involving manual techniques or the use of laboratory instruments and information systems. May perform phlebotomy as needed. Ability to communicate effectively with others. -Demonstrated technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge sufficient to perform laboratory functions. Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science. Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA).
