NIMA is a groundbreaking portable food sensor designed to empower individuals with food allergies and sensitivities to confidently test their meals for specific allergens. As a pioneer in consumer food testing, NIMA revolutionized mealtime decisions with the first portable product that enables individuals to avoid unintentional gluten exposure in food in a fast and accurate manner. The company launched the gluten sensor in 2013, but the product was deprioritized following a 2020 acquisition by Medline Industries. The new NIMA, with funding from RA Capital, relaunched in late 2025 and is dedicated to helping people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance live with confidence, connection, and peace of mind. With a commitment to scientific rigor and user-centered design, NIMA is reinventing what it means to navigate a gluten-free life.What are we looking for? As we ramp up awareness of the NIMA Sensor, we are seeking a seasoned medical marketing manager to help grow credibility among HCPs and patient programs. This leader will be in charge of managing how we show up at tradeshows and with patients, how we best work with KOLs, and what additional evidence is needed to be successful.Role will report directly into the CEO, and there is potential to expand/promote within the role in the future.Role Responsibilities: Strategic support - along with the broader NIMA team, help to create a Medical Marketing strategy that drives direct recommendations for NIMA among patients who have a medical need to stay gluten-free (e.g. Celiac). KOL Management - manage the current group of KOLs, working with them to create content, data evidence plan, and more. Creative Material Development - working with our agencies, lead the development of Medical marketing and Patient marketing, including claims, printed and digital content, paid ads, etc. Relationships - along with Head of Business Development, build and manage relationships with a variety of HCPs and KOLs to drive access into new clinics/channels. Ability to scale relationships into sustainable commercial partnerships. Insights & Analysis - build a deep understanding of needs among this target group, and conduct thorough analysis of HCP and patient programs to maximize impact and efficiency.Qualifications: Experience in Market Planning, Marketing, and Medical Marketing Ability to design and implement effective marketing strategies Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus Passion for the Celiac or Food Allergic community. Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and a resourceful approach that allows for effective work as an individual contributor and manager who may build out a team in the future. Excellent communicator with interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional (remote) teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong agility and adaptability, responding effectively to market dynamics and opportunities.
