Trial Attorney

We are seeking an attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to manage cases from inception through trial.ResponsibilitiesManage a caseload of bodily injury and insurance defense matters from initial assignment through resolutionConduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and coverage opinionsTake and defend depositions, attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trialsDevelop litigation strategies in partnership with claims professionals and outside expertsEvaluate liability and damages exposure to support effective case resolutionNegotiate settlements and represent the company’s interests in contested mattersMaintain proactive communication with clients, claims teams, opposing counsel, and the courtsEnsure compliance with state regulations, court rules, and legal best practicesParticipate in professional development and contribute to team initiativesQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in Massachusetts; additional New England state admissions are a plus3–5 years of litigation and/or trial experience, preferably in insurance defense or bodily injury mattersStrong courtroom, deposition, negotiation, and case management skillsExperience handling complex liability matters and working collaboratively with claims teamsExcellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environmentKnowledge of Massachusetts and New Hampshire litigation experience preferredSalary RangeThe pay range for this position is $107,500- $134,000 annually.
