Learn more: www.thelighthouse.com.About The RoleWe’re looking for an Events Manager to lead the execution and operations behind the experiences that bring our Brooklyn campus to life.From creator programming and community events to brand activations and private bookings, you’ll own the full event lifecycle — managing logistics, production, vendors, guest experience, AV coordination, staffing, and on-site execution.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves live experiences, and knows how to bring structure and calm to moving pieces. You’ll work cross-functionally with Programming, Marketing, Operations, AV, and Leadership teams to deliver events that feel polished, seamless, and reflective of The Lighthouse brand.This is a highly hands-on role for someone who can think strategically while still rolling up their sleeves to get things done.Here’s What You’ll Do Day-to-dayLead end-to-end execution of events across member programming, partner activations, and external bookingsBuild and manage run of show documents, BEOs, production timelines, staffing plans, and operational workflowsServe as the on-site lead during events, ensuring a seamless guest, creator, and partner experienceManage event logistics including guest lists, check-in flow, vendors, catering, staffing, rentals, and load-in/load-outPartner closely with AV and production teams to coordinate technical execution across live events and studio programmingCollaborate with Marketing and Programming teams to ensure all event assets, communications, and promotional materials are delivered on timeTrack event budgets, expenses, and P&Ls while maintaining strong operational and fiscal accountabilityMaintain organized documentation, reporting, and post-event recaps across all programmingSupport the continued growth of a best-in-class creator campus experienceWho Thrives HereSomeone proactive who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to doA calm, solutions-oriented operator who performs well under pressureA hospitality-first professional with strong executional instinctsSomeone who genuinely loves creators, culture, events, and community-buildingA collaborative teammate with high standards and positive energyWhat You'll BringPassion for creators, culture, and community-buildingA strong operational mindset paired with creativity and hospitalityHigh standards for execution, organization, and follow-throughEnergy, professionalism, and executive presenceA willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead from the frontThe ability to create calm within chaos and momentum within ambiguityA genuine desire to help build something specialHere’s What We’re Looking For5–7+ years of experience in event management, experiential, hospitality, production, or live eventsStrong experience managing multiple events simultaneously in fast-moving environmentsProven ability to manage vendors, staffing, production timelines, budgets, and operational logisticsExcellent organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detailComfortable working cross-functionally with creative, operational, and client-facing teamsExperience within hospitality, media, entertainment, creator economy, membership, or community-driven businesses is a plusExperience leveraging AI tools or emerging technologies to improve workflows, communication, or operational efficiencyThe salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 and serves as a general guideline for the potential compensation.
