Kitchen Refacing Technician
Position OverviewThe Kitchen Refacing Technician plays a critical role in delivering a 5‑Star customer experience by performing high‑quality kitchen cabinet refacing installations in customers’ homes. This position is responsible for executing refacing projects safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards while maintaining professionalism and strong customer communication throughout the installation process.Essential Job FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:Perform kitchen cabinet refacing installations including doors, drawer fronts, panels, trim, hardware, and related componentsRemove and prepare existing cabinet surfaces for refacingAccurately measure, cut, fit, and install materials to ensure proper alignment and finishInstall hinges, handles, drawer slides, and other hardware per specificationsProtect customer property and maintain a clean, safe jobsite at all timesReview job scope and expectations with the customer before and after installationIdentify and communicate job issues, material shortages, or scope discrepancies to management promptlyTake clear jobsite photos and upload them to Company Cam (or similar platform) as requiredComplete installations on schedule while maintaining quality standardsLoad, transport, and unload materials and tools as neededFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and installation standardsAlways Represent the company professionally (appearance, communication, and conduct)Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong working knowledge of cabinet refacing, finish carpentry, and residential remodelingAbility to read job documentation, measurements, and installation specificationsProficiency with hand and power tools used in cabinet and trim installationHigh attention to detail and craftsmanshipStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently while coordinating with operations and warehouse teamsDependable, punctual, and schedule‑drivenComfortable using mobile devices (smartphone, iPad) for job documentation and communicationPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 75 lbsAbility to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periodsAbility to work with ladders and power tools safelyQualifications / Experience2+ years of hands‑on experience in cabinet refacingResidential remodeling experience requiredValid Driver’s License and reliable transportationAbility to pass background and drug screening (if applicable)What We OfferFull‑time W‑2 employmentCompany VehicleCompetitive hourly pay (plus potential performance incentives, if applicable)Overtime availableConsistent work volumeState-of-the-art technology tools and resourcesCompany‑provided materials and supportGrowth opportunities with a stable, established remodeling companyProfessional, team‑oriented work environmentHealth, Dental, Life insurance options401K Retirement SavingsBacking of 37-year-old proven Industry leaderCollaborative, driven, entrepreneurial environmentAbout ImproveIt Home Remodeling:Serving the needs of homeowners for 37-years, Improveit!
