Delivery Scheduler and Warehouse Support

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Delivery Scheduler to join our Warehouse & Delivery Operations team. About The RoleThe Delivery Scheduler is the operational backbone of our delivery experience. You are the central point of coordination between our customers, Designers, Delivery Team, Warehouse Team, and leadership. Your work directly shapes how customers experience the final and most exciting step of their purchase - receiving pieces they love in their homes.This role offers a mix of administrative duties and hands on warehouse support. You'll bring strong organizational skills and exceptional customer service to the admin side of things: scheduling, route planning, documentation, and customer communication. And when the team needs you on the floor, you show up. Whether that means staging furniture, unloading a truck, or stepping into another warehouse role to keep things moving - you're in.If you thrive in a role where no two days look exactly the same and you genuinely enjoy being part of a hardworking, hands-on team, this is a great fit!What You'll DoScheduling & CoordinationMonitor orders in DASH and Shopify, confirm eligibility, and contact customers to schedule deliveriesVerify orders are paid in full, inspected, and ready before schedulingReview Designer notes and special handling instructions for each orderCreate and manage delivery calendar events in OutlookUpdate order statuses, comments, DESO, and the SO Received Spreadsheet accurately and on timeRoute Planning & CapacityBuild efficient delivery routes using Google Maps, uShip, and internal toolsMonitor truck capacity, delivery limits, and team availability dailyFinalize routes no later than 2:00 PM the business day before deliveryClearly flag full routes and communicate capacity to the teamPre-Delivery PreparationPrint and organize DESO packets and sign-off sheetsStage all items by route and delivery order, ensuring protection and efficiencyEmail delivery schedules to Designers at least 24 hours in advancePost-Delivery & DocumentationAssist with unloading trucks, disposing of trash, and returning packing materialsConfirm order statuses are updated to "Fulfilled"Support end-of-day and next-day preparationWarehouse & Cross-Team SupportAssist with incoming shipments, inspections, tagging, and stagingMaintain organized warehouse and loading areasStep in to support the Delivery Driver Team Lead, Delivery Assistant, or Warehouse Associate when business needs require additional coverageWhat We're Looking ForExceptional organizational skills - you manage multiple moving parts without losing accuracy or detailA customer service mindset - every interaction with a customer reflects our brand; you take that seriouslyGenuine enthusiasm for hands-on work, like loading a truck or staging furniture Willingness to step in wherever needed - this team wins together, and you don't wait to be askedClear, professional communicator - with customers on the phone and teammates on the floorHigh attention to accuracy - scheduling errors affect real customers and real deliveriesComfortable with multiple digital systems and toolsPhysical capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly and work in an active warehouse environmentAbility to work in a variety of enviorments, both insude and outside and comfortable on laddersFlexible and adaptable - priorities shift and you shift with themPrior experience in scheduling, logistics, warehouse operations, or customer service preferredWHY NELL HILL'SWe are good people who love what we do.
