Schedule : Hybrid ( 3 days office/ 2 days remote )
Pay-range: $44 to $45/hr.
About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Master Parts List (MPL) / Change Management Engineer to support prototype and production build activities within an automotive/EV engineering environment. This role will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and validating Master Parts Lists, ensuring alignment between engineering Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing requirements, and internal systems.
The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, prototype development, supply chain, warehouse, production, and partner teams to resolve data discrepancies, manage engineering changes, track part availability, and provide accurate part status throughout the build lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and validate Master Parts Lists (MPLs) for various vehicle builds in collaboration with internal engineering teams and external partners.
Ensure MPL accuracy through regular Bill of Materials (BOM) to MPL alignment and reconciliation checks.
Collaborate with Prototype Engineering to incorporate process-related and build-specific data into the MPL.
Perform routine validations, including weekly data audits, to maintain MPL accuracy and completeness.
Identify and resolve discrepancies between engineering data, MPLs, BOMs, and other related systems.
Maintain accurate part information throughout the prototype and build lifecycle.
Change Management & System Alignment Manage engineering and configuration changes by reviewing, approving, and executing Change Management (CM) tickets.
Analyze, debug, and correlate data transferred between multiple engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise systems.
Investigate data inconsistencies and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
Ensure changes are accurately reflected across applicable systems and documentation.
Partner with warehouse and material teams to regularly communicate and update part availability and status.
