Job Title: Wage & Hour Litigation AttorneyLocation: Los Angeles, CASalary Range: $245,000–$270,000Firm Overview:Our client is a well-established U.S. law firm with a strong labor and employment practice. The firm represents employers in complex workplace matters, including wage and hour disputes, class and representative actions, under state and federal law.Overview:The Los Angeles office is seeking an attorney with at least five years of experience in wage and hour litigation. This role offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibility, managing sophisticated class, collective, and representative wage and hour matters for a diverse client base.Key Responsibilities:Litigate claims under the California Labor Code, the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)Draft and respond to complaints, answers, and dispositive motionsManage written discoveryTake and defend depositionsPrepare and argue motions, including class certification and decertification motionsStrategize and litigate PAGA representative actionsAnalyze exemption classifications, regular rate calculations, meal and rest period compliance, pay statement claims, and waiting time penaltiesQualifications:JD from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmission to practice in CaliforniaMinimum of five years of wage and hour litigation experience, including class and representative mattersStrong academic credentials, analytical skills, and legal writing abilityAbility to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off and parental leave401(k) with profit sharing and carve-out electionLife and long-term disability insuranceOptional benefits include critical care, accident, hospital indemnity, student loan refinancing, dependent life insurance, and pet insuranceApplication Instructions:Please email résumé, transcript, and writing sample to
