Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, CNOR, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: Scrub experience is preferred but not required. Description: Scrub experience is not required. Start date: ASAP. Shift is 4X10 Days. First-timers accepted. Weekends are required for call shift only. Required to float to main operating room. Candidates with pending licenses are accepted. Must include all time off requests at the time of submittal. Guaranteed hours are set at 70 hours per 2-week period. Unit specializes in CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, minimally invasive valve surgery, VATS, mediastinoscopy, RATS, CVL support with carotid cutdowns, and laser lead standby. General, cardiovascular/thoracic, and laparoscopic experience are required. Daily patient ratio is 1:1. Candidates are expected to float within skill set as required. Willingness to work evenings and take at least one weekend call shift each month. Required skills include proficiency with cardiac procedures and related technologies. Completion of specific charting system experience is necessary.
