Hybrid/work-from-home options are available.POSITION DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking an experienced general liability and/or professional liability senior associate with 7+ years of litigation experience to join our Los Angeles office. As a senior general liability and professional liability attorney at LBBK, you will take a leadership role in managing complex, high-exposure matters, serve as a key point of contact for clients, mentor junior attorneys, and play an active role in business development and firm growth in the LA market. This position offers a clear path toward partnership for those demonstrating the requisite skills and commitment.RESPONSIBILITIESIndependently manage and defend clients in complex, high-exposure general liability and professional liability matters from inception through trial/arbitrationDevelop and execute comprehensive general liability and professional liability case strategies with minimal partner oversightServe as a primary client contact for general liability and professional liability matters, maintaining strong relationships and delivering strategic counselSupervise, mentor, and provide substantive guidance to junior associates and paralegals on general liability and professional liability mattersConduct and defend complex depositions including expert witnesses in general liability and professional liability casesArgue dispositive motions, handle all court appearances in Los Angeles-area state and federal courts, and lead mediations and arbitrationsDraft and review complex motions, briefs, pleadings, and expert-related materials across general liability and professional liability practice areasActively participate in client pitches and business development initiatives in the Southern California marketAssist partners in billing oversight, matter budgeting, and client reportingContribute to firm committees, training programs, and mentorship initiatives1,850 annual billable hours requirementCOMPENSATIONBase salary of $175,000 – $220,000 annually, depending on experience.
