We're seeking a Toolmaker to join our team in Muskegon, MI. In this role, you'll be an essential part of a precision manufacturing team—building, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, and fixtures to support high-quality production.What You'll Be DoingAs a Toolmaker, your core responsibilities will include:Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to meet production requirements.Precision Machining: Operate manual and CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders to fabricate tool components.Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose issues with tooling and make necessary adjustments or repairs to minimize downtime.In addition, you will also be expected to collaborate with engineers and production teams, ensure tooling meets specifications, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.What We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have the following:Qualifications:Previous experience as a Toolmaker or in tool and die requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsMust wear steel-toe or composite toe shoes and safety glassesSkills:Precision & Accuracy: Strong attention to detail when building and repairing toolsMachining Knowledge: Experience with manual and/or CNC machining equipmentProblem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement solutionsSafety Awareness: Understanding of shop safety practices and proceduresWhy Join Us?This position offers hands-on, highly skilled work in a team-focused environment—with opportunities for long-term employment and career advancement in precision manufacturing.Workbox Staffing Benefits:Weekly PayHire-in OpportunitiesComprehensive Benefits including Health, Life, and DentalVeteran-Friendly and Equal Opportunity EmployerReady to start?
