Electrical Estimator – T&D / Substations OverviewOur client, a leading contractor in the power delivery sector, is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support the delivery of transmission, distribution, and substation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization involved in complex utility infrastructure work across multiple regions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for T&D and substation projects, including labor, materials, and equipmentReview drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate project pricingSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotationsPerform quantity take-offs and scope analysis to ensure complete bid coverageParticipate in bid reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering effortsSupport the development of proposals, including RFP responses and bid submissionsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to align estimates with execution strategyAssist with change order pricing and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycleRequirements3+ years of electrical estimating experienceOR4+ years of experience within T&D and/or substation projectsStrong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and utility standardsExperience with take-offs, bid preparation, and subcontractor managementAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specificationsStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailPreferred QualificationsExperience working on utility-scale transmission, distribution, or substation projectsFamiliarity with estimating software and cost databasesBackground working for an electrical contractor or utility contractorWhat’s on Offer100% Health care coveredVehicle allowanceBonus incentiveESOP (Employee Stock Ownership)Opportunity to lead/ build out a team
