Services Specialists are experienced agents that assist with providing networking and computer related support services to SMB and enterprise customers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. These services include pre/post-sales support, wired/wireless network design and support, Microsoft systems and server installation and support, consulting and onsite/remote management in the general business, hospitality and public venue environments. This is a direct customer facing position and requires outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToProviding remote and onsite customer support for Microsoft virtual environments, Cloud backups and other MSP related servicesDesigning and installing LAN’s and Windows based domainsProviding pre-sales support; primarily participating in sales calls to assist in the technical aspects of the sale and ensuring that the customer’s technical requirements are metWired and wireless network design, support and installationMicrosoft Systems and service installation and supportInterfacing with our customers other hardware and software vendors to identify and resolve problemsPerforming basic project managementProviding customer training and guidance as requiredProperly documenting service activities; accurately accounting for inventory of service parts and keeping internal customer related information up to dateParticipation in the 24x7 "on call" rotationOther duties as assignedQualifications Associate degree in related field combined with 3 years minimum industry experience and certifications or 5+ years’ minimum experience supporting SMB, enterprise data and communications environments Current MCSE and Cisco Certifications preferredEstablished residency in PennsylvaniaValid PA Driver's License and good driving recordVMWare or Hyper-V ExperiencePrevious experience with the design and implementation of clustered server environments, virtual environments and management of MS Cloud servicesExtensive experience with Active directory as well as hosted and on premise applicationsProven experience supporting L2/L3 networks in SMB and enterprise environmentsKnowledge of wireless system design and support up to and including 802.11AC standardsGeneral knowledge of the full range of products and capabilities typically found in an SMB environmentExpertise and practical experience with Microsoft server products, clustered Hyper-V environments, VMware and vSAN technologies recommendedHyper-VDFSActive DirectoryExchange/O365VMWare, Vsphere and vSANExperience with backup and imaging technologies recommendedExperience with Threattrack Vipre business antivirus recommendedExcellent Communications Skills – Oral and Written a mustExcellent Organizational SkillsProven ability to multitask and operate in an eclectic service environmentAbility to provide professional customer service at all times and in all situationsAbility to participate in the "on call" work rotationAbility to travel when needed within our company's service footprintINDLP
