Hourly Wage: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour This position requires up to 100% travel.Candidates living farther than 40 miles or 1 1/2 hours from the office will not be considered for the position.We are seeking to hire anExperiencedCommercial Roofing Service Technicianto join our Service Team. As a member of the Service Team, you and another team member will be assigned to a Service Truck and will be responsible for executing planned maintenance, repairs, and inspections of existing roof systems throughout the Atlanta area and the Southeast. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Complete initial safety and technical training on-boarding. Interact with clients in commercial and retail environments. Investigate and repair commercial roofing deficiencies. Complete small/medium repair projects on various roofing systems. Successfully operate the IDEAL Force Mobile Operating System. Perform Recommended Action inspections on all jobs. Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 Years of Commercial Roofing experience, preferably in the Service department or a combination of Production and Service experience. Familiar with Details and Requirements related to the installation & repair of the following roof systems: PVC, TPO, Modified Bitumen, and EPDMMinimum Employment Requirements; Clear a National, State, and Local Background Check 3-Year Motor Vehicle Record meeting standards to drive company vehicles. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen & complete pre-employment physical. Pass the 90-day introductory period. Qualifications: 40-60 Hour Work Weeks. Consistent & Reliable Timeliness & Attendance. Rotating (1) weekend per month On-Call Schedule. Periodic, Regional, and overnight stays for job completion. Ability to operate mobile technology systems & programs. Willingness to learn from other technicians & direct supervisors. Must be trustworthy and willing to work for periods unsupervised. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at roofing job sites. The weather work environment and job sites can be extremely hot or extremely cold. This position is performed inside and outside. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
