This role supports high-volume AP operations while serving as a key resource for complex issue resolution, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys both hands-on processing and driving efficiencies within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Position OverviewThe Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will oversee invoice processing, vendor management, and payment execution while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role also includes exposure to month-end close, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-driven, and comfortable working independently while partnering closely with internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable & Financial Operations+ Process and review high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance+ Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies+ Manage vendor statements and resolve outstanding or escalated payment issues+ Partner with procurement and receiving teams for PO/invoice matching+ Process employee reimbursements with proper approvals and documentation+ Support month-end and year-end close (accruals, journal entries)+ Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentationAnalysis, Reporting & Process Improvement+ Provide reporting and analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow+ Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements+ Drive efficiencies through automation and improved workflowsTeam Support & Collaboration+ Mentor and support junior AP staff+ Partner across departments to ensure seamless AP operations+ Maintain strong vendor relationships and communicationRequirementsQualifications+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)+ 3-5+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience+ Strong understanding of AP processes, general ledger, and financial concepts+ Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar)+ Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)+ Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills+ Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities+ Professional communication skills-Preferred Qualifications+ Experience with tax compliance (sales tax, 1099 reporting)+ Exposure to AP automation tools or process improvement initiatives+ Professional certifications (e.g., CAPP)Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
