Job Description SMG Engineers is looking to add a mid-level Structural and/or Mechanical Engineer to our skilled team of dedicated design professionals for full-time, in-person work in our Beaverton, Oregon (or Missoula, Montana) office.QualificationsStrong communications and teamwork skillsStructural or Mechanical design experienceBachelors Degree in EngineeringProfessional Engineering License (If applying for a Structural position, a SE license or desire to obtain a SE license is preferred.)ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and design industrial systems utilizing code references, computer modeling and hand checksReview and prepare engineering calculationsCoordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal team membersMentor less experienced engineers and assist their development as engineersBe an active part of the collaborative environment that we strive to promote at SMGMaintain organization of documents, budgets, schedules, and correspondence throughout the lifecycle of tasked projectsSMG offers a competitive wage (with overtime pay), bonus and benefit package in a family-friendly work environment.
