Menig Nursing Home at Gifford Retirement Community, named for the late Howard and Gladys Menig of Braintree, opened in 1998. The Licensed Nursing Assistant will be responsible for assisting in coordination of nursing care for patients, serving as a patient advocate, assisting in providing patient and family teaching in a multidisciplinary health care setting. S/he will provide direct care to assigned patients in conformance with hospital policies, professional standards, physician orders, and approved plan of care. The nursing process will be utilized in the provision of patient care.
