Registered Behavior technician

Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Collect data on client progress and behavior Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Teach and reinforce appropriate social skills and behaviors Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatmentQualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred Previous experience working with individuals with ASD or related developmental disabilities preferred Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and implement strategies effectively Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others Ability to work independently and as part of a teamSkills Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Familiarity with data collection methods and behavior tracking software Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environmentPlease note that this position may require occasional evening or weekend availability based on client needs. Training will be provided for qualified candidates.
