DescriptionJOB SUMMARYAs the Pastry Cook, you will prepare and assist with the creation of excellent quality desserts while adhering to the Eye Tooth restaurant's pars and recipes. The Pastry Cook will assist in developing specials and new dessert recipes and cater to special events as assigned. The Pastry Cook is responsible for the preparation of all the pastries and baked goods for the Eye Tooth restaurant. Previous baking experience is preferred.Essential FunctionsDuties & ResponsibilitiesAdhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy proceduresExtensive knowledge of menu items and ingredientsPrepare and supervise the preparation of all the pastries and baked goodsCreate and fulfill par levelsHandle, store, date, and rotate all products properlyMonitor and promptly report equipment and food quality issues to a managerBe a creative contributor to dessert specialsEnsure completion of all opening, closing, and side dutiesCommunicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurantWork as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respeRequirementsQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card.
