Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting, month-end close process, cash management, internal controls, tax compliance, and accounting operations.This role will lead the accounting team and offshore accounting support while partnering closely with Finance, FP&A, Operations, and Regional Leadership teams.What You'll Do·      Lead the month-end and year-end close process across multiple entities and locations ·      Own the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions ·      Prepare and review consolidated and entity-level financial statements in accordance with GAAP ·      Oversee cash management, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reporting ·      Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance processes ·      Lead annual audits and partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners ·      Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions ·      Drive process improvements, automation, and accounting system optimization ·      Partner with Finance, FP&A, and Operations leaders to provide accurate financial reporting and actionable insights ·      Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team, including offshore accounting support ·      Support organizational growth through scalable accounting practices and financial disciplineWhat We're Looking For·      CPA required ·      Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ·      Public accounting experience and/or prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience ·      5+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience ·      Experience owning the full month-end close process and financial statement preparation ·      Multi-site and multi-state accounting experience ·      Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting ·      Advanced Excel skills ·      Experience leading and developing teams ·      Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Preferred Qualifications·      Experience with Sage or comparable ERP systems ·      Experience supporting growing, multi-unit organizations ·      Experience with acquisitions, integrations, or new location openingsWHAT YOU’LL GET·      Competitive pay (based on experience and location) ·      Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay ·      Medical, dental, and vision benefits ·      Option to purchase various voluntary insurance plans·      401(k) options
