Apprentice Millwright
Summit Skilled Solutions is currently seeking mechanically inclined individuals to join our team as Apprentice Millwright. The role involves assisting in the installation of mezzanines and structural pallet racking systems within manufacturing and industrial settings. This position does not involve welding; all work is focused on bolt-up structural steel.
Apprentice Millwright Job Duties:
Assist in the installation of mezzanines and structural pallet racking systems.
Comfortably operate a scissor lift.
Safely operate a forklift to move materials.
Apprentice Millwright Qualifications:
Some experience working in an industrial or manufacturing facility.
Preferred experience with bolt-up steel erection, prefabricated metal buildings, or installing cantilever racking.
Experience operating a forklift and scissor lift is preferred; certified operators will be given priority.
OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Must possess PPE including safety harness, hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest or shirt, gloves, and steel toe boots.
Basic hand tools and a bolt bag including wrenches, sockets, etc., are required.
Apprentice Millwright Compensation and Benefits:
$24-$26 per hour based on experience (BOE).
Weekly direct deposit.
