Role: Electrical Test EngineerIndustry: Critical InfrastructureLocation: Ohio (Onsite preferred, relocation assistance offered)Salary: CompetitiveWe are partnered with a rapidly growing critical infrastructure company developing complex electrical and electromechanical systems for data centers.They’re looking for an Electrical Test Engineer to strengthen testing across their electromechanical systems. This is a hands-on role combining product validation, QA and test automation, with the opportunity to help build out a new testing function.**This is an Electrical Hardware Testing position NOT software role***candidates must be a US Citizens or Greencard holdersResponsibilities 🔨Test complete electromechanical systems across hardware, controls and software.Perform product validation and acceptance testing.Identify bugs, faults and unexpected system behavior.Troubleshoot using oscilloscopes and other test equipment.Work with microprocessors, controllers and/or PLCs.Help automate repeatable software and hardware testing processes.Qualifications 📑Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent2+ years experience testing electromechanical systems combining hardware, controls and software (must have)Comfortable working hands-on with hardware in a manufacturing environmentExperience using oscilloscopes.Exposure to microprocessors, controllers and/or PLCs.AC and/or DC electrical experience.Strong troubleshooting skills and a genuine desire to find faults and bugs.Nice to HavesPython, Bash or other scripting/test automation experience.Automated testing experience.Background in industrial automation, aerospace, automotive, medical devices or similar electromechanical products.Why Apply? 🎉Opportunity to help build and influence a new testing function.Hands-on exposure across hardware, controls and software.Opportunity to join a market leader that is scaling rapidly in the critical infrastructure for data center spaceHit "Apply Now" for further details if you meet the criteria a
