About The PositionWe are building a demo. The engineer will leverage ChatGPT, Anthropic, or other LLM APIs in a front-end experience to search & chat with PDF documents. The deadline for the demo is mid January.We are looking for an engineer who is: proficient end-to-end from designing Figma mocks to implementing functional web applications ready to work very hard & quickly. They should dislike premature optimization. excited to take direction from a product leadWe are looking for someone who matches the following:Role Objective: A front-end developer with full-stack capabilities. Tasked with developing a platform Specifics of the project will be disclosed upon hiring. Technical Competencies: Capable of designing new UI screens in Figma (Material UI etc) Proficient in either React or Vue.js frameworks. Skilled in robust state management for multi-page web applications. Capable of designing features that manage and persist user workspaces. Experienced in implementing authentication systems with services like Auth0. Competent in integrating chat APIs with a focus on maintaining chat history. Familiar with designing basic SQL schemas for basic web app objects in PostgreSQL and Redis. Able to understand and work with backend-defined APIs / schemas (GraphQL, RestFUL APIs etc) for core functionalityCultural Expectations: Immediate availability to meet mid-January project deadlines. Commitment to extremely intense work cycles followed by rest periods. Emphasis on rapid development for a demo and understanding that premature optimization is not.
