The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fine dining, banquet service, and restaurant management, with a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and team leadership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a prestigious establishment known for exceptional cuisine and outstanding service. The Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen activities, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency, working closely with our Corporate Chef & F&B teams.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in menu planning and development, incorporating innovative dishes and seasonal ingredientsSupervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food handlers, ensuring smooth shift operationsOversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards for all menu itemsManage inventory control and ordering to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing wasteEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areasCoordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to dietary restrictions and client specificationsLead by example in food preparation, cooking techniques, and hospitality service to foster a positive team environmentMonitor kitchen operations during shifts, managing workflow and resolving any issues promptlyCollaborate with management on staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluationsRequirementsProven experience in fine dining establishments, banquet services, or catering environmentsSupervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a culinary settingStrong background in food production, kitchen management, and food safety protocolsExcellent knowledge of menu planning, inventory management, and food handling proceduresAbility to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environmentExceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse teamCulinary experience with proficiency in cooking techniques across various cuisinesExperience in restaurant or hospitality management preferredKnowledge of dietary requirements and accommodations for special dietsRelevant certifications such as ServSafe or equivalent are highly desirableBenefitsState Medical Benefits and Company Dental and Vision Benefits401k Contribution and Matching ProgramOn Demand Pay – your pay before paydayTeam Member/Family/Friend home and restaurant discounts within Noble House Hotels & Resorts (nationwide)Noble House Hotels & Resorts are proud to encourage and support an environment where everyone can be a successful team member (come as they are) as their true authentic self.
