Initial focus on building the global infrastructure, establishing, growing and managing the offshore outsource model team and contract. The R2R leader will work very closely with the internal Global Finance Team, to deliver value added scope services. This position is on-site at our HQ (4 days in office, 1 day remote).Below are some of the key areas of focus and responsibilities for this role:Transformation:• Support design and implementation of Global R2R scope function• Ensure optimal use and adaptation of ERP / enabling technologies, in partnership with ITContinuous Improvement:• Support identification and prioritization of Continuous Improvements impacting the Global processesStandards & Controls:• Design people, process, and technology standards for end-to-end process at Corporate level• Establish and maintain an appropriate accounting control environment within Finance operationPolicies & Procedures:• Ensure development and implementation of accounting standards that support the business needs• Provide Advisory, Reporting & Compliance (ARC) with input into key accounting policies• Develop and maintain accurate operational proceduresProcess:• Design & implement master data governance across end-to-end process• Work with key stakeholders across the process, to ensure the process is ''fit for purpose''• Assist stakeholders in the resolution of complex or non-routine issues within scope area(s)People:• Work with stakeholders across the end to end process, to review staff activities and provide the support needed to ensure appropriate quality and staff productivity• Provide input into the performance process including reviews and staff developmentPerformance:• Set performance targets and Service Level Agreement thresholds with outsource provider• Monitor contract performance and negotiate changes, as requiredQualifications/Requirements:Work Experience:• 8+ years' experience in R2R environment including managerial positions of increasing responsibilities, in a GPO position• Leadership experience within an outsourced or shared services R2R function• Ideally experience of implementing technology solutions within the R2R area• Thorough understanding of accounting controls, with deep experience in R2R processes• Significant experience and use of ERP software (SAP) and supporting R2R technology• Previous success in similar role requiredEducation or Certification:• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required• CPA or MBA desirableDesired Characteristics• Proven ability to implement business process changes to improve operating efficiencies• Leadership presence, ability to interact with all levels within the organization(s) to resolve issues or impact changes• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management and customers• Ability to drive change and influence within a matrixed and centralized/decentralized operating model• Ability to lead a remote function or team• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
