Massage Therapists perform massages in a manner that prevents injuries to their own wrists and other parts of their body as well as the guests. Massage Therapist obtains a detailed history from guest health and maintains confidentiality. Maintain proper sanitation for treatment rooms and tools.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.A steward of the Woodhouse brandEnthusiastic and passionate about your craftWillingness to receive training on new proceduresPerform exemplary services based on Woodhouse protocolsIn this position you will:Ensure treatment room and areas are clean and sanitized using approved sanitizing product and procedures.Maintain proper inventory in treatment roomsRemove soiled laundryAssist with laundryAssist in opening and closing dutiesPerform a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue and hot stone massagePerform a variety of body treatmentsMaintaining current license according to state rules and regulationsReport to management any maintenance issuesPerform Team Member services as part of cross-training educationMust comply with all company policies and procedures. Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this position. Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests. Must have the flexibility to work Sundays.Education and experience:Must have State License requiredLuxury Spa experience preferredExperienced Licensed Massage Therapist preferredLanguage skills:Must have excellent verbal communication skillsMust be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team membersReasoning ability:Ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goalsPhysical demands:Must be able to be on feet for most of the dayMust be able to lift up to 45 lbs.Must be able to perform multiple services during shift
