We are united by a common mission: to deliver services and technology that fundamentally change how skilled workers and the businesses they serve get hard work done.Job DescriptionThe Rig HSE Representative is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs at the rig site. This role serves as the on-site HSE authority, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture. The position requires working in remote and challenging environments, supporting drilling, completion, or workover operations, and driving continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance.ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety OversightAct as the on-site HSE representative for drilling, workover, or completion operationsPromote a strong safety culture and support stop work authority for unsafe conditionsEnsure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsConduct daily safety observations and field safety interactionsLead and participate in toolbox talks, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and pre-job meetingsEnvironmental ComplianceMonitor adherence to environmental regulations and standardsEnsure proper waste management, spill prevention, and containment practicesSupport environmental protection measures related to land, water, and wildlifeAssist with spill response preparedness and environmental reportingAudits, Inspections & MonitoringPerform routine and ad hoc inspections of equipment, work practices, and PPE complianceIdentify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed outParticipate in audits, inspections, and regulatory reviewsSupport emergency response drills and safety exercisesIncident Reporting & InvestigationAssist in reporting and investigating incidents, near misses, and environmental eventsGather field data, witness statements, and observationsSupport root cause analysis and development of corrective actionsTrack and report safety performance metrics and trendsTraining & CommunicationSupport delivery of HSE orientations and site-specific safety briefingsCommunicate safety alerts, lessons learned, and procedural updatesMentor personnel on safe work practices and regulatory complianceReinforce best practices related to operational and environmental safetyOperational & Field SupportWork effectively in remote or challenging environments, including extreme weather conditionsMonitor fatigue risks and ensure safe work practices during extended shiftsSupport emergency preparedness and response in isolated locationsCollaborate with operations, contractors, and leadership to maintain safe operationsSkills And QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferredExperience3–7 years of HSE experience in oil and gas operationsPrior experience supporting drilling, completions, or workover operations requiredExperience in remote or harsh operating environments preferredTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practicesExperience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigationsFamiliarity with hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation processesUnderstanding of environmental compliance and spill response proceduresCertifications (Preferred Or Required)OSHA 30 (or equivalent)H2S Awareness or H2S AliveFirst Aid / CPRIncident Investigation trainingAdditional safety or environmental certifications are a plusSoft SkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to influence and promote a safety-first cultureAttention to detail and strong observational skillsProblem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work independently and in team environmentsAdditional RequirementsAbility to work in remote locations and physically demanding environmentsWillingness to work rotational schedules and extended shiftsCommitment to maintaining high safety and environmental standardsJob DetailsLocation: Anchorage, AKPay: $900-$1100/per day
