he ED MD/DO must be proficient in EPIC and show competency in its use in ED. The provider must be proficient in procedures such as intubation, central line placement, Chest tubes, LPs, use of ultrasound for FAST exams. Although the surgical team is on-call, there is a response time so it's essential the provider be self-sufficient in procedures and managing a team of patients. Most days there is an APC during day and some evening hours. ACT 10 acceptable. Annual ED volume is 11,000. Shifts are 7A-7P/7P-7A. Daily volume is 33 patients. Staffed with APC majority of days.
