Entry Level - Dock Builder

We are looking for a self-starter looking to begin a career in the dock building industry. Position: Entry Level Dock Builder Qualifications: Construction experience preferably in home framing or deck/dock building Ability to use hand tools, and power tools Ability to lift 150lbs. Forklift/excavator experience a plus Experience pulling a 30’ trailer and heavy equipment a plus Good communication and problem-solving skills A self-starter with high attention to detail who takes pride in delivering high quality results Ability to work in a team environment Operate a clean and organized work site Job Description: Assist crew members in loading and unloading materials Layout and evaluate materials and review for quality control Build and assemble boat docks for both residential and commercial projects according to design specifications Cut and install decking Perform a comprehensive site clean-up at the end of each project and at the end of each day Support dock delivery to end customers Utilizing general handyman skills and basic mechanics knowledge to support various construction operations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Paid training Schedule: Day shift Weekends as needed People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute: Lake Murray, SC (Required) Work Location: In person
