We think beyond traditional banking, always innovating and inspiring.About the TeamAs a Sr. Director of TPM on Capital One's Enterprise product & platform organization, you will help build solid platforms on mobile and web surfaces to deliver incredible customer experiences.ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver complex technical programs across platforms and services.Build and lead a world‐class team of technical program managers.Drive technology focused discussions with senior leadership.Communicate and collaborate across product, engineering, design, and data science.Execute projects with deep focus on accountability and results.Manage cross‐team collaboration across functions and reporting boundaries.QualificationsStrong technical background building scalable platforms, products, or services.Proactive identification and mitigation of technical risks.9+ years of experience in technical program management.Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.Exceptional communication, collaboration, problem solving, and influencing skills.Quantitative approach to problem solving and a systems thinker.Experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services, preferably AWS.Experience with Agile delivery.Experience in highly regulated environment.ML experience is preferred (design, building, and deploying models).Preferred Qualifications9+ years designing and building data‐intensive solutions using distributed computing.At least 2 years with full ML development lifecycle.5+ years building distributed systems & mobile products & platforms.ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, open source contributions, or patents.Master's/MBA a plus.Seniority LevelDirectorEmployment TypeFull‐timeJob FunctionInformation TechnologyCapital One is an equal opportunity employer (EOE, including disability/vet).
