Procurement Specialist
Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a dependable Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations through purchasing coordination, supplier management, reporting, and data analysis. This role plays an important part in helping the organization make informed purchasing decisions, maintain supplier relationships, and improve operational efficiency across multiple business functions.What You’ll BringStrong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret purchasing data, identify trends, and support informed business decisions.Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Professional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, suppliers, and leadership teams.A continuous improvement mindset focused on process efficiency, problem-solving, and operational accuracy.What You’ll DoSolicit, evaluate, and compare supplier bids to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.Generate and manage purchase orders from approved requisitions.Monitor purchase orders through completion to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies, supplier concerns, and invoice issues.Partner with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and support procurement activities from requisition through payment.Support ProcurementHelp requests by providing timely assistance and accurate information.Create reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools.Assist with supplier relationship management to support service quality and continuous improvement initiatives.Support sourcing activities by gathering, extracting, and analyzing procurement data from multiple systems.Work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure contract compliance.Track and report savings methodologies, purchasing metrics, and procurement performance data.Support automation efforts and process improvement initiatives within the Procurement Department.Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement reports as requested.Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and supporting documentation.Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.Support additional procurement and administrative responsibilities as assigned.What You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office, purchasing, procurement, or analytical support role preferred.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; ERP system experience preferred, including JD Edwards.Demonstrated attention to detail with strong problem-solving, analytical, and multi-tasking abilities.Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a team-oriented environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the workday.Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.Benefits And PerksCompetitive salary with opportunities for career growth and advancementMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid time off and floating holidaysVolunteer Time Off (VTO) to give back to your communityEmployee referral bonus programWellness benefits that support your overall health and well-beingOpportunities for professional development, training, and leadership growthCollaborative and supportive team environmentStable company with long-term career opportunitiesWho Thrives HereYou enjoy meaningful work and take pride in contributing to a team that values collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
