Job DescriptionJob Function To procure all necessary materials, supplies, equipment, and services to support our Operations.Essential Functions Solicit and evaluate bids, and award purchase orders for the optimum combination of price, delivery and service. Perform necessary follow up to order completion. Create and input requisitions w/ proper information from field personnel. Generate purchase orders from requisitions. Investigate and resolve PO issues. Manage issues of return of materials, over-under shipments, quality, and necessary change order. Maintain department records, files, and databases. Actively participate in assigned project teams. Create reports and perform analysis as required. Responsible for complying with corporate policies, procedures, and standard ethics. Support departmental and company goals and objectives. Perform other duties as directed.Qualifications Associate Degree in Business/Purchasing or equivalent experience. 4 years MRO or Indirect material purchasing experience. Experience in a manufacturing or job-shop environment. Ability to manage competing priorities. Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and proficient at problem solving. Must be resourceful, driven, self-accountable, and flexible to a demanding fast paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Application (Word, Excel, Outlook) Skill with excel pivot tables, V-lookups and macros is a plus. Experience with ERP systems: JD Edwards experience is a plus.
