Full Stack Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. The candidate must have strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks and full‐stack development to build responsive, high‐quality web applications.Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Full Stack Engineer job responsibilities include:* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive and visually consistent web applications.* Design and implement responsive, accessible UI components using modern frontend technologies like React.js or Next.js.* Translate wireframes and UX mockups into high‐quality, production‐ready code with pixel‐perfect accuracy.* Optimize frontend performance by improving load times, ensuring smooth interactions, and refining overall user experience.* Implement best practices for code quality, modular architecture, and state management across the application.* Conduct code reviews, write unit and end‐to‐end tests, and integrate frontend features with backend APIs for seamless functionality.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field; master's degree preferred.* 5+ years of hands‐on experience in frontend development with exposure to full‐stack engineering.* Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React.js/Next.js) along with expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive UI implementation.* Proven ability to integrate frontend components with backend APIs using Node.js while delivering high‐quality, scalable web applications in Agile environments.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
