Your responsibility is to ensure three core commitments are met for every student in your group: they enjoy learning, they progress at 2x speed, and they acquire competencies that traditional textbooks don't address. You will also mentor the Guides who uphold these same commitments throughout your campus.All choices are informed by data, and every interaction happens in person. Your time is divided between your own student group and the Guides you develop — and the expectation remains consistent for both: quantifiable growth, without compromise. When a Guide's session underperforms, you don't draft a memo; you observe, discuss, and resolve it the same day.You will witness reserved students present with poise to adults. You'll observe a learner who once "despised school" request to remain after hours. Students engage with adaptive apps; your role is to elevate the people supporting them.Delivering traditional classroom lectures. You're predominantly an entertainer (80%), minimally a content expert (20%); if standing at a whiteboard appeals to you, this role isn't it.Compromising standards due to pressure from parents or school leadership. When a student achieves 99%, the response is "not yet" — and you'll receive full institutional support to maintain that standard.Spending time in an office processing administrative documents. The majority of your day involves direct interaction with students and Guides.Waiting extended periods for performance evaluations.
