Community Manager

Shared Values LLC provides supervised one and two-person community homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Job Duties/Responsibilities: · Supervises Direct Support Professionals working in community homes · Creates weekly schedule to assure adequate round-the-clock staffing in each home · Confirming site shifts for all sites · Participates in on-call coverage and staffs shifts when needed; works flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and overnights as needed · On call for all nonbusiness hours · Ability to be ON SITE during all after hours incase of EMERGANCY or INCIDENT · Maintains a home-like environment and models appropriate interactions with individual residents · Participates in ISP planning · Creates menus and shopping list to assure appropriate meals for each resident; arranges for grocery shopping · When necessary, serves as additional staff at individual’s medical appointments and, in collaboration with nurse, assures that follow-up medical needs are communicated to team members · Assures that on-site records are kept securely in locked area in the home · Reconciles receipts for all purchases for the community homes · Schedules transportation to and from places of employment, personal appointments, and for recreational and other events. · Creates monthly activities calendar for each individual · Provides site-specific training for new staff and annually for all staff · Maintains confidentiality, including keeping voice low and not talking about staff or individuals served in public areas · Attends all required staff meetings and training. · Maintains professional boundaries at all times · Abides by all Shared Values LLC. policies and procedures · Complete other job-related duties as assigned Job Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: · HS diploma or GED required, AA in human services or related field preferred · Minimum of two (2) years of experience with IDD population · Familiarity with 6400 regulations is preferred · A valid driver’s license is required · Ability to circulate through program space throughout the entire shift, including walking up and downstairs between first and second floors multiple times per shift · Ability to push adult residents in wheelchairs for extended periods on various terrains EOE/M/F/D/V/SO an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, affection or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, nationality, sex, or any other legally protected category.
