A better future?Job DescriptionAs a member of the Seating team, the Program Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of a program launch through strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and clear communication with internal and external disciplines. Individual interacts with cross functional teams and senior management on programs that have significant impact enterprise-wide to ensure successful product launch.ResponsibilitiesYour work will include, but not be limited to:Manage program timelines by directing, coordinating, and communicating to all functional groups assigned to the program as well as customer functional groups and platform teamsConduct planning activities to ensure programs launch on-time and meet deliverablesMonitor timing, quality, scope, technical and financial risks, and issues on assigned program, resolving risks where possibleManaging and participating in program change controlWork with functional managers to communicate resource requirements and expectationsUnderstanding of industrial engineering concepts to communicate both externally and internally on required manufacturing readiness (EOL testers, assembly equipment, torque requirements, etc)Responsible to provide customer seat engineering testing requirements (H-Point, torso angle, seat density/hardness, etc)Ensure engineering BOM structure is to latest level on release and all applicable technical drawings are updated accordinglyRemain flexible to changing responsibilities and workload adjustmentsExperience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry within program management, account management, or salesAbility to work in a highly productive, constantly changing environment with limited supervisionMicrosoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiencyDemonstrated history in leading global or domestic programs with budget, timing, and cross functional team responsibilityMust be highly organized and display excellent leadership skillsAbility to travel up to 25% of the timePreferred RequirementsAutomotive Seating experienceEuropean OEM experienceEqual Opportunity EmployerLear Corporation is committed to fair, merit‑based employment practices and equal opportunity.We provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with applicable law.
