CDL driver

Driver (Class A or B) Location: Yonkers, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a reliable CDL Driver (Class A or B) to join a growing building materials distribution team. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections Load and unload materials onto flatbeds and box trucks Deliver building materials to customer job sites across the NY Metro area and surrounding regions Verify shipment accuracy and ensure proper handling of materials Safely transport and unload products at delivery locations Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards Submit required driver logs and documentation daily Provide excellent customer service during deliveries Assist with warehouse duties when not driving Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A or Class B License 1+ year of commercial driving experience Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements Ability to safely operate flatbed and box trucks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and reliability Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 100 lbs Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to communicate effectively via phone or radio Schedule Full-time schedule 8–10 hour shifts Overtime and weekend availability may be required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37,440.00 - $49,920.00 per year Work Location: On the road
