We pay a total of 5 per year. A full-time employee qualifies for a week of paid vacation after the first year of employment. For years 2 to 6, we pay for 2 weeks' vacation. After 90 days of probation, employees are paid holiday pay if the holiday falls on your typical working day. These are the holidays that we pay for.·Memorial Day·Independence Day·Labor Day·Christmas Day·Thanksgiving·New Year's Day·Easter SundayDrivers can also qualify for a monthly safety bonus of $250.00.Job descriptionThis position is physically demanding. You must not have any limitations preventing you from performing your job. You must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 85lb or more. You must be able to transport such packages to buildings that have no elevator and directly to the apartment doors. We deliver in all elements: summer, rain, and snow. Employees are expected to deliver safely in these environments.Your day starts with a pre-trip inspection, followed by loading and arranging the delivery van. You are then dispatched to make these deliveries. You are also assigned to pick up packages that have timed windows. Your day ends when all your packages are delivered, your picks are picked up, the truck is parked in the terminal, and you have completed your post-trip inspection.ScheduleWe operate seven days a week. You must be able to work weekends. You will be given two days off each week. Your usual shift starts at 8 a.m. and ends with your latest pick-up stop. Currently, our latest pick-up stop is at 5:30 p.m. One day, biweekly, all drivers have an assigned shift of 9am-5:30 p.m. to complete this pick-up. Otherwise, your shift usually ends earlier.Compensation.The starting salary is $900 weekly before taxes. After 3 months of probation and based on performance, the pay increases to $950 weekly. We continue with a pay raise of $25 every 6 months for your first year up to $1000.
