Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM • Call requirements: 1-2 times per week and every 6th weekend • Weekend coverage approximately once per quarter • Call response time: 30 minutes • Must live within 75-mile radius from hospital (driver's license verification required) • One week floor-specific orientation required • Work in 19 operating suites handling 55-60 cases per day (approximately 1000 per month) • Full service facility performing all procedures except major pediatrics and transplants • Common cases include ortho/neuro trauma, robotics, and general surgery (no C-sections in main OR) • Scrubbing not required but preferred • Must have basic competency in almost every service and be flexible • 2-3 years minimum OR experience required • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • EMR system: Meditech • Scrubs provided • Must rotate holidays with permanent staff • Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks • Skills checklist must accurately reflect experience level Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a full-service medical center with a comprehensive 19-suite operating room department.
