AI tool fluency (Claude, Gemini, chat/agent projects) is a strong plus.Strong analytical, storytelling, and communication skills; proven ability to work cross‐functionally, independently, and under deadlines.Company:Our client is a Fortune 500 multi-national technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA.About the Role:Seeking a Temporary User Researcher to support product teams by planning and executing user research that helps inform product strategy and experience decisions. This is a temporary, project-based role. The successful candidate will deliver research insights and recommendations in collaboration with stakeholders, while maintaining appropriate independence and professional judgment consistent with a temporary engagement.Responsibilities:Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (e.g., interviews, surveys, diary studies, usability testing) based on defined project needsDevelop research plans, screeners, discussion guides, and study materials aligned to project objectivesAnalyze findings, synthesize themes, and produce clear, actionable insights and recommendationsCommunicate results through written reports, readouts, and concise stakeholder-facing deliverablesPartner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Product, Design, Data Science) to ensure research outputs are understood and appliedUse AI-enabled tools responsibly to accelerate workflow where appropriate (e.g., transcription support, summarization, thematic analysis support), while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and research rigorManage timelines and deliverables for assigned projects and provide regular status updatesMinimum Requirements:7+ years of experience conducting user research (industry, agency, or consulting experience acceptable)Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)Demonstrated experience selecting appropriate methods and executing end-to-end research from planning through synthesis and presentationStrong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate research into actionable product recommendationsAI tool fluency (e.g., experience using AI-assisted tools to support research workflows such as synthesis, summarization, or analysis), with sound judgment and attention to quality controlExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver against deadlinesCandidate Requirements:Must-Have SkillsCore RX improvementsBroad utilization method and analysisIndustry experience – preference for consumer productsNice-to-Have Skills:AI tool fluency – strong nice-to-haveClaude, Gemini, chat projects, some agent projectsDegrees/Certifications Required:Minimum of Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
