The Manager, Consumer Researcher on our team is accountable for the creation and execution of research projects start to finish, applying best practices and standards to projects, and delivering actionable results to stakeholders- both internal and external. The role will execute research across a range of methodologies (Quantitative and Qualitative) and will include custom work, leveraging existing products and solutions, and incorporating existing data to support a holistic view that raises the collective understanding of our customers’ motivations and perceptions.You will be accountable for:Manage and develop junior consumer researchers on insights interpretation, results delivery, and data science methodologies Owning the identification of research needs and supporting designing research projects to meet those needsExecuting or leading others through execution of research activities for projects end to end including: defining sample, determining feasibility, questionnaire/screener drafting, data cleaning, designing and executing an analysis/insights plan, overall quality assurance throughout, and delivering results and recommendations.Driving and identifying opportunity areas for increased efficiency in our research processes and products to increase the ROI of all of Consumer ResearchOwning client/stakeholder relationships, through consultation, interpretation of business questions, and delivery of results with clear recommendationsCollaborating with teammates, cross functional partners and external vendors to manage and progress projects from start to finishServing as a passionate, vocal champion for customers and getting to “the Why”QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:Ability to lead the consumer research process across both qualitative and quantitative methods with prior experience scoping and executing a variety of consumer research projectsAbility to demonstrate expertise in one or more research related software/tools (e.g. SPSS, R, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Qualtrics, SmartPLS, Lighthouse Studio, quick turn research platforms, etc.)Strong understanding of various data types and strong ability to effectively integrate across data types to deliver insightsProven experience leading client-facing research engagements, including consulting on business needs, managing expectations, and presenting insights that drive decision-making.Impeccable attention to detail, strong discipline and proactivity related to managing timelines and budgetsThe ability to successfully manage many projects at one time and prioritize effectivelyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to navigate a quickly evolving and at times, nebulous environmentAbility to work in a highly collaborative environmentEDUCATION:Bachelor’s or master’s degree, ideally in business, marketing, social sciences, psychology or analytics/statistics.7-10 years of industry experience#LI-AB1Pay Transparency and BenefitsThe stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest.Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor.
