Job Description Mandatory experience for an oil field logistics terminal manager includes 3–5 years in terminal/logistics operations, 2+ years in supervision, petroleum/oil terminal expertise, safety compliance knowledge, and relevant certifications. Candidates can manage complex oil field logistics, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead teams effectively in a high-stakes environment.Core Experience RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years in terminal or logistics operations in the oil, gas, or transportation sector.At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role overseeing terminal staff, inventory, and logistics coordination.Minimum 200 Fleet Experience. Including Rigs and TrailersPetroleum or oil terminal experience is highly preferred — familiarity with oil rig casing pipe products, or terminal operations is essential.Safety and regulatory compliance experience in the oil/gas industry, including DOT, IFTA, and environmental regulations.Inventory and scheduling expertise for handling bulk energy products, including use of inventory control and scheduling software.Fleet and equipment maintenance oversight experience to ensure operational readiness Industry-Specific SkillsKnowledge of oil terminal logistics, maritime or land-based loading/unloading, and export/import coordination.Ability to manage relationships with company and owner operator drivers, oil rigs and vendors.Experience with emergency response and risk mitigation in high-hazard environments.Enforces safety protocols and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
